KEITH URBAN, SUGARLAND AND DEF LEPPARD SWEETEN PERFORMANCE LINE-UP FOR THE “2009 CMT MUSIC AWARDS”

The all-star performance line-up gets even sweeter with the addition of Keith Urban, Sugarland and British rockers Def Leppard to the 2009 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, which will premiere LIVE on Tuesday, June 16 at 8:00 p.m., ET/PT on CMT and CMT.com.  Previously announced performers include Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts and Taylor Swift.  Tickets to the eighth annual fan-voted awards show go on-sale Saturday, May 2.  Country Music’s Only Fan-Voted Awards Show Now on Tuesday, June 16

Rodney Carrington receives CMT Award at golf course

Just another day at Richland Country Club!   CMT learned this week that Rodney Carrington had not yet recieved the CMT Music Award he won in April.  The comedian and co-star of the upcoming film with Toby Keith, "Beer For My Horses," won Best Supporting Character for his appearance in Trace Adkins' music video, "I Got My Game On."  Due to a clerical error, his trophy was never sent to him.
