INVITING LOCAL TALENT TO SHOW THEIR STUFF AT THE JIM BEAM BAMAJAM BATTLE OF THE BANDS -- ENTERPRISE, Alabama-- Labeled a world-class, must-see, mega outdoor entertainment extravaganza (combining the elements and character of Bonnaroo, Woodstock, Telluride and Country Thunder), the Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music & Arts Festival (June 4 - 6, 2009) has already enjoyed astronomical ticket sales proving once again thousands of music enthusiasts will "see stars" at the second annual event!

To be held over a sprawling 600-acre tract in Enterprise, AL, the 3-day/3-night festival is staged to unite Classic Rock, Alternative and Country music "stargazers" and "shooting stars" from around the country and all over the world.

Opening the door to local entertainers, Ronnie Gilley Entertainment is pleased to introduce the Jim Beam BamaJam Battle of the Bands. Organized to attract and encourage talented hopefuls to participate, the first annual Jim Beam BamaJam Battle of the Bands competition is being held in two phases. Performing artists from all genres are encouraged to submit their entry to compete to win the chance to appear on the Budweiser BamaJam Saloon Stage at the Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music & Arts Festival-2009.

The first 100 acts to sign up will become eligible to compete at the qualifying performances scheduled to take place in the two-phase competition. Competition I takes place April 10 & 11, 2009/Competition II will be held April 17 & 18-both competitions will be held at the BamaJam location at Boy Scout Road and Highway #167, Enterprise, AL. Contestants will perform two songs before the public and will be judged by the audience and a select panel of Nashville music industry executives. Performances will be evaluated by overall fan-appeal, stage presentation and content. The Jim Beam BamaJam Battle of the Bands competitions are open to the public.

Four grand prize winners will be chosen to perform at the Budweiser BamaJam Saloon at the Verizon Wireless BamaJam Music & Arts Festival--the largest music festival in the Southeast attended by over 200,000 folks.
