"Sand" is the first single from acclaimed country music artist Aaron Lines' new CD due to be released in August 2009, distributed by EMI/On Ramp.  Lines co-wrote this feel good  single with Grammy award winning songwriter and close friend Josh Kear("Before He Cheats", Carrie Underwood}. Someone he also wrote "Moments That Matter" With, one of the top 5 most played songs of 2008.  "Sand" sets out to put the listener in the summer mood and is sure to become another crowd favorite from Aaron Lines who already has 13 top 10 singles to his name.

Coming off the enormous success of Lines last album which spawned 3 top 10's including the smash hit "Cheaper To Keep Her" (the only number 1 song by a Canadian artist since Shania Twain, 10 years ago),"Somebody's Son" and the title track "Moments That Matter"...it is clear the multi-award winning artist, Aaron Lines, is picking up right where he left off with the infectious "Sand".

Aaron will be touring extensively to promote the new CD which will be distributed and tracked by EMI/On Ramp. "I am really looking forward to playing the new songs on tour this summer and fall, it's always nice to play new material live after spending so much time in the studio recording. I'm also very excited to be a part of the EMI/On Ramp family, I think it's a great fit for me over there and I feel lucky to be a part of it" stated Lines.
