November OCMA Showcase at Roadhouse Route 66 in Sarnia

Coming off their successful October Showcase at the Gibson Artist Showroom, the Ontario Country Music Association is having their last showcase of the year on November 9th at Roadhouse Route 66 in Sarnia, Ontario.  
Scheduled to appear are Ontario Indie Country Artists Lorraine Davies and the Too Drunk to Fish Band, Christine Donovan, Rebekka Paige, the River Junction Band, Shari Lynn, and Justin Woodley.  Hosting and performing again will be Jamie Warren.  Jamie was the host and performed at the October showcase and was very well received.

Ontario Country Music Association Showcase at Gibson Guitar Centre in Toronto

The next OCMA Showcase is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2008, from 6pm to 11pm at the Gibson Guitar Centre in downtown Toronto.

In conjunction with Gibson, the Ontario Country Music Association will be using this evening as showcase, fundraiser, meet and greet, and membership drive.

Entertainment for the evening will consist of performances by these OCMA members:

Ontario Country Music Association Forming Board of Directors

Ajax, ON - The Ontario Country Music Association is in the process of forming its board of directors as part of its incorporation process.

This current version of an association for country music in Ontario started in October 2007 through the efforts of Durham residents Rob MacArthur, Sara Turner, and Greg Gillis, as well Terry Fernihough of Ottawa.  All four felt that country music in Ontario needed a boost and an association to lead that charge.
