CTV hits a high note with exclusive coverage of The 2009 JUNO Awards nominees’ press conference on Tuesday, February 3. The 2009 JUNOS AWARDS host and Gemini Award Winner Russell Peters hosts the event live from The Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET. The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS) will announce this year’s nominees, and announce jointly with CTV, additional performers for Canada’s Music Awards. Coverage of the live portion of the press conference airs on CANADA AM (in B.C. and Alberta), CTV Newsnet, CP24 and CTV.ca. Later that night, ETALK provides an exclusive re-cap of all of the nominations. Two-time JUNO Award nominee Sarah Slean, 2008 JUNO Award nominee Saint Alvia and Canadian rockers The Stills will participate in the announcement.
The 2009 JUNO AWARDS will air on CTV from General Motors Place in Vancouver on Sunday, March 29.
